Introduction of Officers:  Mike Cumberland- President (absent), Chris Smith- Treasurer (absent), Brian Jesteadt- Membership, James Hacke- Secretary, Roger Carfangia- Pistol, Mike Ripley- Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap (absent).

Treasurer’s Report: Steve read the report in Chris’s absence.

Bills and Communications:    Nothing to report. 

Pop: Steve turned in $6.

Rental Committee Report:  Jan. 14 (6 pm) thru Jan 16 (11 am) Boy Scout troop 33 will be using the main hall while doing some community projects. Jan 22nd and 29th (9 am – 3 pm) all women’s handgun classes.  March 26th outdoor pistol range for the Frolic (all day). 

Pistol Team:  Rodger took in $162, had expenses of $47, kept $35, and turned in $80.  The pistol team gathers on Thursdays at 5 pm to shoot 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team:  Jim reported that the winter trap league only has 3 shoots left to finish the season.  The trap range is also open to anyone who would like to come practice during the league.  It cost $3.50 per round of 25 targets and starts at noon and has been ending around 3:30 to 4 pm on Sundays.   

Black Powder:  Nothing to report.

Meat Shoot:  Nothing to report. 

Junior Rifle Team:  Mike Ripley is no longer running the Junior Rifle team.  Anyone that is interested in taking over please contact Mike or a board of directors.    

Archery:  The outdoor range bags will be removed and stored during the winter months.      

Fun Indoor Shoot:  The fun shoot has started again.  They normally shoot every Monday at 10 am-till the shooting is done.  Doors open at 9 am.  Everyone is welcome.   .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize. 

Membership:   Brian collected a total of $2,965, maintenance fund $335, general fund $2,630, key cards $220.  New members for the year 2021 were 129.  The current membership is 486 senior life/charter members, 690 total club members.

Old Business:  Repairs of the outdoor electric panel at the trap range has been completed.  The outdoor archery bags should be removed this upcoming Sunday.       

New Business:  Sharon Cronin was present to talk about the upcoming all-female pistol classes.  Classes are going to be $25 for club members and $35 for non-club members.  Classes are limited to 8-10 participants and are filling up quickly.  You can contact Sharon by email if you would like to register or know of someone who would like to register.  walksoftlyllc@gmail.com

If using the indoor pistol range, please make sure all target holders are low enough to have your bullets impacting the center of the rubber bullet trap.  Too many targets are getting mounted too close to the target holders which is resulting in shots hitting the wood frame or even the wall above the trap.    

Steve would like to put together a committee of 3-5 persons to come up with a plan and proposals to make improvements to the inside of the main hall.  If anyone is interested, please contact him. 

Improvements to the 100-yard rifle range target holders will be done in the spring unless someone would like to complete this task before then.
